UP DATE: I decided to keep these and have been just wearing them around the house, yard and town and they are doing just fine even if a little big. I wouldn't hike in these but for casual wear, they are ok even if the straps don't tighten. They are comfortable for casual wear.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Ok....so I knew there were sizing issues when I bought these and tried to guess my way through it because the price is great. Hopefully my review will help someone else. I am a standard 8.5 shoe. I wear an 8.5 tennis shoe and sandal in almost every brand out there. My current sandals and tennis shoes are sketchers brand size 8.5. In reading the reviews about how large these shoes are, I ordered a size 7. I measured my foot according to the chart (9 1/8), read the reviews and bought the shoes. Here is my issue. So the shoe was just a touch too small on my big toe so I loosened the back strap to see if the length would be ok doing so. That fixed the toe touching for length so they feel ok. My foot is not narrow or wide so by untightening the back strap for a little more space in the length was fine, but I can't tighten the top strap any tighter meaning that they are a bit loose being too wide. If I could tighten the top strap more, I think they would fit tight enough to be just right. As it is I wondered about ordering a 7.5 for the length but worried that the top strap might be even bigger so I haven't decided yet if I am going to keep them, try for a 7.5 and see if the extra length allows me to tighten the back strap more adjusting the fit, or just send them back. I am just not sure if I would be trading one issue for another or not. If I decide to try the 7.5, I will update but in the meantime I hope my review helps someone else. So basically, if I had a wider foot, these would probably be perfect. A slim foot would NOT work and an average one is not quite right. I worry if I were to take these hiking (which is what I bought them for) that they might rub because I can't get them cinched tight enough. Around the house or causal wear, they would probably be ok or with socks, but I ordered a sandal so I didn't need socks in the heat. Another reviewer said that they bought the 7.5 and they rubbed a blister and thought a 7 would have been better but....if your foot is a little wide, this 7 would be perfect for a size 8.5 foot I think.As for quality and look, they are super cute and appear to be good quality. I don't know how long they will last yet as they just came but if I have any issues that way, I will update if I decide to keep them. The sole is soft and flexible and comfortable right out of the box and they are cuter on that I thought they would be. I do worry that by tightening the top as much as I could that the velcro strap will eventually curl upwards as it is an inch too long to adhere down which would mean at some point it would poke out awkwardly too. Just some things to consider if you decide to order them. If you can get the fit right, the price is great for this shoe if they last.If you look in the photo, you can see I have stuck my finger in the show to show you have much room they have after being completely tightened as much as they can and how much the velcro piece sticks out after being tightened as far as they go.these are well made and i really love the style. they are very comfortable.The style of these hiking sandals is very cute! I noticed my toes were scrunched a bit even after following the size chart, so ordering a half size up would be great. However my biggest issue was after securing the Velcro straps to get a nice fit I didn’t like how much the fabric stuck out beyond the sandal. And there was a decent arch support which was very important to me. I have small heel/back of foot so that could be the reason for mine not fitting as they should.I ordered a 8.5 ...and it's a little big.. definitely wide...and I have wide feet...Might return for a smaller size... But I like them, lite and comfortable. I like the colors...Maybe I'll just keep them and order another color in smaller ?Runs large. I have a D Width and even going one size down they were still too big in both length and width.I am a size woman's size 10. These were neither too big, nor too small. I was surprised when I read someone else say they could not adjust the straps because they have a velcro strap on top and in the back. The straps are easily adjustable. I mainly have used these for walking around on sidewalks (not in the woods). I could tell a huge difference when walking and actually wanting to go farther, they just feel good. If you were on the fence, I would go for it they were worth it.I wore the shoes today on a hike to a local creek. I mainly bought the shoes for wearing in the water so I was pleasantly surprised by how great the shoes were while hiking! The base of the shoe is wider than my regular hiking shoes thus giving me perfect stability on on uneven trails. The shoes are adjustable so the inside width did not bother my feet. I would recommend these shoes.I worked at a summer camp and wore these shoes everyday!!! They're great hiking shoes, good fit, very comfortable.i have very wide feet because of bunions . i cannot buy normal sandals as normal womens sandals are all so narrow with little to no support at the arch....but these have the extra width i need. they fit as expected and i am happy with them. i also have a low arch and desperately need arch support. so these seem to be the ticket. overall i am happy with the sandals.Me gustaron desde que las vi, y pensé comprar dos pares pero decidí primero uno para conocerlas. Siempre compro talla 8 USA ó 5 MX, pero estas vienen demasiado grandes para la talla que deberían ser, mis pies "nadan" en ellas. En la foto las bandas están al tope y no permite que se ajuste más Espero que me las cambien (por que si están super) o reembolsen su valor...Si van a comprar, compren talla mas chica que la que usan normalmente.Y si el fabricante "ajusta" su tallaje, espero lo informe.I have unattractive toes, so wanted a closed toe sandal, I’m also done with sandals that do not have support and our flimsy and leave my feet dirty at the end of the day. These sandals hit everything for me, hides my toes, offers a lot of support and I can run around with the kids without issue, and it keeps the dirt off my little wigglies.Están cómodos, yo suelo usar numero 5 y por los comentarios pedí el numero 4 y me queda perfecto, no los he usado para lo que lo compre pero se ven de buena calidad.Las sandalias están hermosas, mejor de lo que esperaba muy cómodas y resistentes; sin embargo se debe tomar en cuenta que viene el número amplio tanto de lo ancho como de lo largo, calzo 26 y fue el número que pedí. Sin embargo hice la devolución ya que me sobraba 1.5cm de lo largo. Ya pedí 25!!! Es una compra de la que no se arrepentirán.
