Loved this shoe! Great Price-well made and OMG so comfy from the get go! I thought I would need to wear it for a week to "break it in" but not the case! Great fit and having 1/2 sizes was a plus. I am a 9 1/2 and it was a Cinderella moment....perfect fit!I took my family to Busch Gardens a couple of weeks ago. It is very hot here in Florida and I wanted a pair of walking sandals that could get wet. I'm a nurse and usually purchase shoes at specialty stores d/t years of feet abuse. I also bought a pair of ECCO walking sandals and paid over $100. I wore the ECCOs for a few hours one day and although they had better sole support the strap across my forefoot was irritating. I wore these sandals for a full day at the park and was very comfortable. The shoe has a nice roomy toe box and a cushioned sole. The ECCO had better arch support, but in totality, this cheap shoe was more comfortable for me. I ended up purchasing a pair for my mother 85yrs old and two daughters 31 and 34yrs old because they liked the shoes. Now, my mother has flat feet and believes the shoes are comfortable, but need an insert for support. My daughter and I have high arches and we do not need inserts with these shoes. Note - until I discovered Altra shoes, I always added an orthotics to my work shoes. I wore Brooks. The little plastic thing that holds the two stretch adjustments at the forefoot did some off on shoe. I could probably use a tool to thread the stretch cords back in, but it's not needed. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with these shoes. Also, I usually size up in walking/running shoes. Don't size up in these shoes. They fit true to size. Hope this helps.The shoe is well made, and sturdy. A bit too stiff for my liking. They look nicer than in the photo. My main issue is that I need a wide version.These are really comfortable.nice arch support, too.If they weren’t so adjustable, width and heal, I would have returned them for a smaller size.They are wide, I often have to choose a size up to accommodate for my wide feet.I think the clips should be on the inside, where they couldeasily be reached while shoes are being worn. Velcro fastenings have a tendency to lose their usefulness,and a use of the clips, would make the velcro last longer.I live on steep hills in Ecuador. I ordered these when I was in the USA recently. I get better traction with these sandals than I ever had with any of my hiking boots! These are worth their weight in gold!Liking these hiking sandals. Wasn’t sure if I would dig a hiking sandal so didn’t want to go all in, but so far so good. Comfortable and have so far held up on some rainy wet mountain hiking. No complaints yet!My new everyday sandal! Well made, very comfortable and looks great with casual and sports apparel. Will be purchasing a second pair in different color. Go ahead and make the purchase - you won't be disappointed.Very pleased with these walking shoes. I ordered my normal size but feel like I could of sized down a half size. Keeping them as I needed to wear them for walking asap. If I was to reorder, I definitely go down a half size!
